Monarch Grove is a wonderful elementary school focused on educating the whole child by providing unique learning opportunities for 350 Transitional Kindergarten through Fifth Grade Students in Los Osos. We are fortunate to have highly skilled and dedicated staff, involved parents, beautiful facilities, and a supportive community that all work together to provide the very best for our students. Monarch Grove is a leadership school where students are provided many opportunities to shape their own experiences and learning both in and outside of the classroom. Our students serve as leaders in various roles around campus including planning our school wide activities in alignment with our monthly Social Emotional Learning Initiatives. Monarch Grove is committed to developing strong character traits in all students so that paired with their exceptional academic learning, they will grow into well rounded and responsible individuals. 

In alignment with our focus on educating the whole child, students are given the opportunity to explore learning outside of the core subjects with exposure to lessons in Art, Music, Innovation, Garden, Physical Education, and Library. The ability to provide these supplemental lessons are made possible through the generous contributions of our supportive parents including our PTA and the volunteers of our Parent Garden Club. It goes without saying that Monarch Grove is such an amazing school because of the involved and supportive parent community! As the Principal of Monarch Grove I am grateful to be able to work with an exceptional staff who truly care for our students and a community who go out of their way to support our school.
