Alison Ingle

Special Day Class Teacher - 3-5

Alison Ingle is our 3rd, 4th, 5th Special Day Class teacher. She started teaching at Monarch Grove in 2012. She came to us from Baywood, but had only taught there for a few months. Prior to that she taught as a Special Day Class teacher for 9 years at Grover Heights Elementary for County Office of Education. Alison grew up in Walnut Creek in the Bay Area and spent a lot of time traveling after high school. She went to college at Cal Poly. She has two Bachelor’s Degrees, one in Human Development and another in Psychology. She has two teaching credentials, one is for Mild/Moderate SDC and the other is for Moderate/Severe SDC. In addition, she has a Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Special Education. She lives in Los Osos with her two daughters and her husband who works at Go Westy. She loves to garden, bake, swim, read and go camping with her family in their Westfalia. Her biggest passion and creative outlet is sewing. She says if she had unlimited funds and didn’t work, she would spend her time sewing!
