Welcome to the Monarch Grove Garden

 

 

    Our Garden is a collaborative school wide project where the community of Los Osos is involved in creating a sustainable year round garden.  We have events planned throughout the school year and we appreciate all the wonderful volunteers that have made our garden a true reflection of our community.

The 5th Grade Classes planted two apple trees in the garden with Dr's Art and Joe From Cal Poly.

Calling all school gardens…School Garden Showcase April 29, 2009  4pm to 7pm at Loma Vista Community School, up behind SLOCOE.  You are all invited to come and share garden stories with fellow educators.  Teachers & Parent Volunteers – We need to see your garden photos and hear your garden stories. You can showcase in several ways: Please contact Teresa Lees, at SLOCOE to let me know how you will be showcasing your school garden.Panelist sharing a PowerPoint Presentation, School Garden Photo Display Board and Grade Level Break Out Sessions.  School Administrators & Staff – You are needed to spread the word, encourage your school’s garden in whatever way you can, and lend your support by showing up to this event.  Everyone: Please bring garden snacks to share too.
